Openwrt, webcam treust fswebcam

Buongiorno a tutti

io sto tentando di installare una webcam sul mio TP-Link TL-WR1043ND con firmware backfire 10.03.1-rc4
la mia ntenzione ? di scattare una immagine ogni 10 minuti che si sovrascriva pure sulla precedente e questa caricarla poi sulla pagina della mia stazione meteo

seguendo qualche guida ho trovato FSWEBCAM che sembrerebbe fare al caso mio, semplice, poche personalizzazioni e l'ho installato come pacchetto opkg
il mio problema sostanziale ? che non so di preciso che modello di webcam possiedo, ? una trust senza altre scritte e a vedere la foto sembrerebbe questa http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=14382 la WB-1400T

per non saper ne leggere ne scrivere ho installato tutti i driver che ho trovato disponibili con opkg

per? nel lanciare il comando mi restituisce l'errore:

Che probabilmente quella webcam non va su linux

Prova a riportare il VendorID e ProdID che ti da quando ci attacchi la webcam

non riesco a trovare le informazioni che mi chiedi

Io come terminale utilizzo putty e quando collego la webcam non mi viene pubblicato nessun dato, devo digitare qualche comando particolare? (non me ne intendo gran che)

preciso che il router ha una sola porta USB, a cui ho collegato un HUB con 4 porte e di seguito (1)la webcam e (2)una stazione meteo (3)vuoto) (4)vuoto

per? quando avvio il programma fswebcam mi restituisce questo output che non capisco a cosa si riferisca

ho pensato che magari fosse un'incompatibilit? con il "fswebcam" e allora ho installato "motion"... la webcam """funziona""" nel senso che si accende il led ma nell'output c'? sempre un messaggio analogo a sopra con "Unable to find a compatible palette format." e non trasmette l'immagine

Ho letto qualcosa sul forum dello sviluppatore di motion. E' possibile che si tratti di un problema relativa a libv4l: http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/SupportQuestion2009x01x20x183230

Potrebbe essere necessario ricompilare motion (ho visto  che esiste una patch) con supporto per quella libreria ... ma sentiamo Ramponis che ? un esperto.

grazie, nel frattempo ero arrivato anch'io su quell'articolo

purtroppo io non sono in grado di "compilare" programmi o altro, il massimo per la mia esperienza ? installare pacchetti ipk
quando sar? a casa (stasera) provo ad aggiornare (reinstallare) la libreria libv4l...
e dico una preghierina

ho provato ad aggiornare il pacchetto libv4l (ma era gia` l'ultima versione)
...su qualche forum ho trovato anche che e` meglio collegare la webcam dietro un hub alimentato, ho provato anche cos? ma ancora niente

Mi sa che motion va compilato con supporto per quella libreria...se non sbaglio. Magari ti risponde Ramponis.

ho acquistato una webcam usata a quattro soldi che dovrebbe essere compatibile. quando arriva provo con questa e vi faccio sapere

Io ho preso quella segnalata qui (http://www.nabuk.org/f/index.php?topic=2626.0) e funziona benissimo !
